DACOR - Event Information

Event Name:A Holiday with Beau Soir Ensemble
Event Type(s):Cloyce K. Huston Musicale
Description:Celebrating Beethoven's 250th Birthday Anniversary at Dacor will be his Serenade composed for flute, violin and viola, now with the artistry of Michelle Lundy, harp. Joining her will be Ruth Wicker, viola, and Carole Bean, flute, both of the National Symphony Orchestra. We will also hear the work of their NSO colleague, composer Alex Jacobsen, in a program composed for this heavenly trio to usher in the holidays. We will hear the chamber work of two rarely heard composers, Paul Ben-Haim and Ladislas de Rohozinski.

Attendees have the option to register for single Musicale events ($25/person) or to purchase a subscription for the Fall Season ($60/person) which includes three Sunday Musicale events in October, November and December and subscription-access only to event recordings.

Attendees are also encouraged to make donations to help support the Musicales and help ensure that we are able to continue them in them in the future. Donations may be made online at https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/dacorbacon by selecting the Musicales designation option; over the phone by calling Mr. Aubrey Puranda at 202.682.0500 x13 and providing credit card information and the Musicales designation; or via check made out to DBH Foundation with Musicales on the memo line sent to 1801 F Street, NW, Washington, DC 20006.
