The panel will be moderated by Kyle Dietrich, Founder of Grounded Idealist. Ann Vaughan is the Associate Vice President, Resilient Futures for CARE. In this role, she helps advance partnerships and programs that support CARE’s work to help 25 million people become more climate resilient and unlock climate finance for development that supports women, girls, boys and men. Ann previously held senior roles at USAID and Mercy Corps.
Nicholas Strychacz is a Senior Private Sector Specialist and Special Assistant to the Global Director for Trade, Competition & Business at the World Bank. In this role, he coordinates senior leadership and global and regional teams to advance the Bank’s private sector development agenda. Nicholas was previously an Advisor to the U.S. Executive Director at the World Bank, and spent a decade at the U.S. Department of the Treasury working on macroeconomic analysis and development finance issues.
Sepideh Keyvanshad is a Senior Advisor at Cambridge Global Advisors with nearly 20 years as a development and foreign affairs professional working at the intersection of diplomacy, development, and security. She recently led USAID’s Human Capital and Talent Management team and served as the Mission Director for Nepal. Her work has consistently focused on advancing stability, governance, and economic growth in complex political and security environments, while building partnerships among governments, multilateral donors, and local communities.
Kyle Dietrich has spent 25 years working in international development, as an implementer with Mercy Corps, Equal Access, and other organizations, as a Director within USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, and an Officer with UN Peacekeeping.
