Celebrating Women Composers!
As we enter our 28th season of Sunday Musicales, we welcome back two husband and wife teams who inaugurated our series of Women Composers: Marcolivia, the violin-viola duo, and Ralitza Patcheva & Vasily Popov, piano and cello. They will them perform the Dumka Trio by Rebecca Clarke (d. 1979, England), a A Selection of Animal Portraits for cello and piano by Zhanetta Metalidi (b. 1934, Russia), a violin-viola duo on Goya's Caprichos by Elena Roussanova (b. 1974, Russia), and the Spanish Quartet in four movements for violin, viola, cello and piano by Louise Heritte-Viardot (d. 1918, France).
Please join us for the 3rd recital in our series back in the House by limited seating or by virtual listening. Kindly make your reservations indicating whether you would like to attend in person. $25 for non-members, $20 for members.
