Please note this is a hybrid event - you have the option to attend in person or virtually. Registrations are required for all attendees. For in-person attendees, the event will run from 12 - 2 pm and will include lunch. The live stream will begin around 1:10 pm (virtual attendees will be sent a link for the event via email). Join us for a luncheon with the Philippine Ambassador to the U.S. Jose Manuel Romualdez. Ambassador Romualdez will share his perspectives on U.S.-Philippine relations, and on maritime tensions in the South China Sea. 

Amb. Jose Manuel Romualdez was first appointed by then-President Rodrigo Duterte in 2017. He was re-appointed in 2022 by current Philippine President Ferdinand Romauldez Marcos, Jr. A veteran leading journalist, publisher and executive in Manila, Amb. Romualdez has led business delegations to the United States, Japan and other countries since the late 1980s. He still writes a widely read column in the Philippine Star
