A full generation ago, USAID re-opened America's foreign assistance in Afghanistan. Join us for a panel on lessons learned by prominent USAID Senior Officials who served there as Mission Director or U.S. Assistance Coordinator, followed by discussion on the implications for America's next generation.
The panel will be moderated by Ms. Hilda "Bambi" Arellano, former Counselor to the Administrator of USAID and U.S. Assistance Coordinator in Afghanistan and will feature:
Craig Buck, SFS, MD/Kabul;
Alonzo Fulgham, Acting Administrator of USAID and MD/Kabul;
Skip Waskin, SFS, MD/Kabul and US Assistance Coordinator in Pakistan;
Bill Hammink, SFS, MD/Kabul and Assistant to the Administrator for Afghanistan & Pakistan.
