"Musical Messengers" ~ A Holiday Celebration of Life

Beau Soir appears at DACOR once again, this time premiering "Autumn Messengers" by Mexican composer Edoardo Angulo (b. 1954). Rounding out the program will be a Trio Sonata by Telemann (1681-1712), a work by Mel Bonis (1858-1937), nom de plume of Mélanie Hélène Bonis, a prolific composer and pupil of César Franck; and a "Terzettino" by Théodore Dubois (1837-1924), winner of the 1861 Prix de Rome. Both Bonis and Dubois were French musicians whose talents were eclipsed by their contemporary Claude Debussy (1862-1918), who gained greater fame with his eponymous "Trio," performed by Beau Soir with their first appearance at DACOR.
