Tea Celebration for Virginia Murray Bacon's 134th Birthday (September 5th)

Join us for an English-style Tea Buffet and sparkling wine celebration on September 5th in honor of the 134th birthday of our benefactor, Mrs. Virginia Murray Bacon, surrounded by the splendour that is DACOR Bacon House. Mrs. Bacon left the House to be a venue for diplomacy, mutual understanding and thoughtful dialog on international issues. She also said, "This House needs to be entertained!" And entertain we shall!
The event will feature a buffet of all the accompaniments du jour of an afternoon tea as well as sparkling beverages and Traditional Pimm's Cups and live music.
$100 of each ticket is tax-deductible and benefits the House Preservation Fund so that we may continue to honor Mrs. Bacon’s legacy and wish that this House continues to serve as a vital space "where those in civic service can gather together and exchange views on world problems."
